Brevo: email, SMS, WhatsApp, CRM and loyalty in one platform
Join 600,000+ customers around the world who trust Brevo
The platform
Four contracts, one customer
Most commerce teams are running four contracts to talk to the same person.
An email platform billed on the number of contacts you store. A separate SMS provider. A chat widget nobody owns. And a CRM the marketing team can read but can’t write to.
The bill rises every time the list grows, whether or not you email anyone. The customer record is split four ways, so segmentation stops at whatever your email platform happens to know. And every new channel starts another procurement cycle.

Five ways we help teams get more from Brevo
Where Brevo Fits Best
E-commerce & retail
Most retail marketing platforms only know what happens online. Brevo connects store, POS and e-commerce data into one customer record, so abandoned-cart flows, back-in-stock alerts and post-purchase journeys run on the full picture.
Multi-site retail & hospitality
Loyalty programmes that look the part need infrastructure to match. Brevo's loyalty engine and mobile wallet push digital cards and vouchers directly to a customer's phone — tied to one record that updates across every location.
SaaS & subscription
Your onboarding sequences and your billing alerts should not live on two different platforms. Brevo runs marketing campaigns and transactional messaging on the same API, so your engineering team maintains one integration, not two.
Travel & experiences
A booking confirmation, a pre-trip checklist, an in-trip message and a post-trip review request are one customer journey. Brevo sequences them across email, SMS and WhatsApp, in the language relevant to where the traveller is going.
Education & training
Enrolment journeys, course announcements and alumni communication carry GDPR obligations that differ from retail. Brevo's consent tooling, EU hosting and double opt-in support make compliance a platform feature rather than a manual process.
Professional services & non-profit
Client and supporter communication does not need enterprise pricing to be done properly. Brevo offers multi-channel marketing, a built-in CRM and GDPR tooling on plans that reflect how professional services and charities actually send. Non-profit pricing is available confirm current terms directly with Brevo.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Brevo?
Brevo is a customer engagement platform combining email marketing, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, live chat and transactional messaging with a built-in CRM, customer data platform and loyalty engine. Founded in 2012 and formerly known as Sendinblue, it serves more than 600,000 customers across 180+ countries and reached €200m+ in annual recurring revenue in 2025.
Who is Brevo's UK and Europe go-to-market partner?
Cloud & Commerce is Brevo's go-to-market partner for the UK and Europe. We handle commercial scoping, migration planning, implementation support and campaign delivery for businesses adopting Brevo, and work alongside Brevo's UK sales team on qualified opportunities.
Is Brevo GDPR compliant, and where is data hosted?
Brevo's servers are located in the EU. The platform is certified to ISO 27001:2022 and provides tooling to support GDPR, CASL and CCPA obligations, including consent records, customisable forms and data request management. Enterprise plans add SSO, SAML and dedicated sending IPs.
This distinguishes Brevo from Klaviyo and Mailchimp, which store data in the United States with no EU hosting option. HubSpot and ActiveCampaign both offer EU data centres, though some subprocessor processing may still occur outside the EU on both platforms.
How does Brevo pricing work?
Brevo prices primarily on the volume of email sent per month, with large contact storage included — the reverse of most competitors, which bill on the number of contacts stored. Plans run from a free tier through Starter, Standard and Professional to custom Enterprise pricing. SMS and WhatsApp are charged separately by usage.
Brevo or Klaviyo — which is better for e-commerce?
It depends on list shape and channel needs. Klaviyo's billing model charges on active profiles and moves accounts automatically. Its revenue attribution depth is strong for brands where revenue-per-flow is the primary metric. Brevo charges on sends with contact storage included, which favours large lists with moderate send frequency, and includes WhatsApp, live chat and a full CRM in the same platform. We run the numbers for your specific setup on the fit call.
Can I migrate from Mailchimp or Klaviyo, and how long does it take?
Brevo provides native import and sync for both platforms, connecting via API key and mapping contact attributes. The platform move itself is quick. The work is rebuilding journeys, warming sending reputation and running both systems in parallel until deliverability is confirmed. Cloud & Commerce handles this end to end.
Does Brevo support SMS and WhatsApp in the UK?
Yes. SMS, WhatsApp campaigns, web and mobile push, live chat and chatbot are all channels within the platform. SMS and WhatsApp are charged per message or conversation window rather than bundled into the plan fee.
Is Brevo suitable for mid-market and enterprise businesses?
Yes. Enterprise plans include multi-account management for multi-brand groups, custom data objects, custom integrations with warehouse, POS and ERP systems, dedicated IP, SSO and SAML, a custom loyalty engine and tailored onboarding. Brevo's customers include eBay, Louis Vuitton, Michelin and Nestlé.
What does it cost to work with Cloud & Commerce?
The fit call and the cost comparison are both free. Implementation, migration and campaign delivery are scoped and quoted against what you actually need. We'll give you a cost range on the first call rather than after three meetings.
What if Brevo isn't right for us?
We'll tell you on the fit call. Cloud & Commerce works with a portfolio of commerce technology vendors. There is no benefit to us in recommending a platform that doesn't fit — a bad implementation costs more in reputation than it earns in commission.
